Earlier, we have told you about the plan of Chef Gaggan Anand’s restaurant in India. And now, some new updates have been received about the same, which we are going to discuss here. Recently, an interview was conducted in which Gaggan talked about his passion for experimental cooking, his first restaurant (soon to open) in India and childhood favourites. As you all very well about his restaurant “Gaggan” in Bangkok that has gained a huge success and also listed in the category of the 50 best restaurants in Asia.

Before starting his cooking career, Gaggan Anand used to play drums. And, he still plays in his free time as music? is always his first love. The chef describes his food as progressive and always try to new and innovative things in the cooking style. Taking about the first restaurant in Mumbai, he said,

“It’s too early to tell, but it will either be a disaster or something that will change me as a person”.

This Mumbai property will be the completely different brand, which something that India has not seen before. It will be a simple restaurant, where the food will be nothing like you’ve tried before. When it’s asked to Chef that which dish you will create, which represents India, then he said,

“I would take Dal Makhani and create a very nice souffle, and serve it with a Naan Crumble, and then add some elements of Achaar and Pyaz in different forms.”
