Day by day, traveling in a train become more exciting as now KFC has tied up with IRCTC to serve hot meals to the passengers in the train. Before KFC, Domino’s has been done same and currently, delivers pizzas on more than 200 trains. The service has already started and the passengers can book their KFC meal while booking via IRCTC.

KFC is one of the best fast-food chain restaurants across the world, mainly famous for its Fried Chicken. The partnership between Domino’s Pizza and IRCTC is running successfully as the fast-food chain is now aiming to roll out ordering for new routes in the upcoming months. According to the reports,

“For now, the KFC food delivery facility is available only on 12 trains passing through New Delhi railway station. However, soon it will be expanded to Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad (Kacheguda) and Bangalore (Yeshwantpur) stations over the next 10 days”.

Initially, the service of the KFC will be limited on those trains, which do not have pantry cars. And, later it would be started to the trains like Rajdhani and Duronto. According to the KFC statement said,

“Consumers will have to visit the IRCTC website or call 18001034139 (Toll Free) to place their order. A password will then sent by KFC to the consumer’s mobile phone which will have to be mentioned at the time of delivery”.

It’s a joint effort of KFC and IRCTC to cater fresh food to the passengers on trains.
