TheOberoiGroupA four day long, “The Golden Crust” food and beverage conclave has been commenced from yesterday. It’s a second edition, which is organized by the one of the world renowned hospitality groups, The Oberoi at its Gurgaon flagship property. The main agenda of this conclave to bring patisserie experts together from the USA and Germany along with the pastry? chefs from all Trident and Oberoi Hotels in India to discuss various topics on pastry and baking.

It’s the second one out of culinary conclave that form a part of the Food and Beverage session started by the hotel chain last year. Here, the sessions will be conducted by the proficient chefs, who have come from distant places, such as chef Kriti Walia of Cupolicious, Germany will communicate with the group’s chefs on designing, conceptualizing and making wedding cakes?.

Chef Anil Rohira, the alumnus of The Culinary Institute of America in New York will take assembly on entremets and chocolate application, while International baking expert chef Peter Yuen, who operates La Parisserie P in Chicago will conduct sessions on laminated and artisan breads.

Out of six conclaves, the first two focused on traditional Indian cuisine and Bakery and the remaining will see The Oberoi Group’s chefs and culinary experts from the industry discuss topics like Italian, Oriental, Wines and Cocktails?.

There are 30 luxury properties in India and abroad, which are operated by the group. Apart from these, two luxury Nile cruisers and a Motor Vessel in the backwaters of Kerala under it. It’s also involved in flight catering, airport restaurants, travel and tour services, car rentals, project management and corporate air charters.
