One of the well-known travel✈️agencies, Goibibo.com, which has now also become the India’s largest hotels and accommodation aggregator has provided the ratings and reviews of more than 20,000 hotels in India. And, by March 2016, the company is aiming to increase these both aspects to 37,000 hotels with the total volume reaching 1 million ratings. Like all other OTA’s that publish TripAdvisot’s ratings and reviews, Goibibo has created its own UGC engine (User generated content) for ratings, photo reviews, and question & answers.

It’s believed that that OTA of Goibibo is the first in the world that holds the power of the picture via “Photo reviews” and also handle the power of the knowledge of the community for its questions and answers product. It’s the mobile first feature, which has been launched to strengthen UGC within Goibibo community. There is around 70% of hotels are listed on the company’s site that have user generated photo reviews and ratings.

Other pictures are generated by consumers comprise photos of amenities, rooms, condition of the rooms, bathrooms, showers?, hotel lobby and swimming pools. Apart from these, a lot of pictures of surroundings of the hotels and places nearby.
