As we all know that, currently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his venture to Singapore, where he had a vegetarian dinner with his counterpart Lee Hsien Loong and his wife at an Indian restaurant in Little India.

PM Modi tweeted along with photos showing the two leaders having dinner together ahead of their bilateral talks tomorrow,

“Diwali lights & delicious Indian food. He further added a tweet, “The hospitable host & the happy guest…PM@narendramodi at Little India. Chai Pe Charcha with @leehsienloong”.

During this bilateral talk, PM Modi also clicked a selfie with Mr. Lee and his wife Ho Ching. Apart from PM, the selfie, which has taken at the restaurant was also posted by Lee on his Twitter account saying,

“Ho Ching & I took PM@NarendraModi to Little India. Took a #wefie after a delicious vegetarian meal.”

In Singapore, Modi delivered a 20-minute “37th Singapore Lecture-India’s Singapore Story” today in which Mr. Lee was also there to hear his speech. During his visit to the Little India, excited staff of the restaurant served them a vegetarian spread of Idli, Vadai and the restaurant’s famous Thosai.

In the starting, they ordered only for plain Thosai, but later on Mrs. Ho ordered onion and masala Thosai for Mr. Modi and Mr. Lee to try. Along with this simple meal, traditional Indian drinks are also offered to them- sweet yoghurt lassi, mango lassi and lime juice.

In the restaurant, the VIP’s appearance was the major attraction for the customers. The whole first floor of the eatery was occupied only by Mr. Modi, Mr. Lee and Mrs. Ho during the meal due to security concerns.
