One of the famous Hollywood actresses, Mandy Moore, who is on a visit to India, could not resist her by trying the local delicacies of the country. The venture of the actress will be of one week and recently, she has tasted the famous Bihar’s snack “litti chokha” when she was here. The main aim to visit the country is to support the NGO PSI India’s Gender Based Violence (GBV) Program, Project Wajood.

As, everyone know that the 31-year-old actress, as well as the singer, is very well-known for her roles played in the movies, such as A Walk To Remember, Tangled and License to Wed and many more. She had joined PSI in 2008 as an ambassador for its child survival programs. And, for that she stated,

“Amazing welcome from the Government of Bihar. Thank you! #loveindia #Bihar”.

Mandy will be visiting other cities in order to understand how PSI and its partners work to improve the health and rights of girls and women by providing an appropriate health solution. These solutions are proper facilities of toilets, screening for cervical cancer, improved access to contraception and also make ensure to the women and girls to live a free life from the gender violence.
