The most famous celebrity of the Bollywood, Dharmendra is now getting entered into the hospitality business after politics. He is set to open his first outlet “Garam Dharam” located in Connaught Place, New Delhi. For the restaurant business, the actor has tied up with the Umang Tewari, who is a chain restaurateur, runs well-known brands, such as The Vault Cafe, Cafe Out of the Box, Raas and many more.

Simultaneously, he is also building a 30-cottage resort on a 12-acre farm in Lonavala, Mumbai branded “Kulli Yaar Di”, which means “a friend’s house”. While, this resort is completely owned by Dharamendra. However, the construction of his first outlet is almost completed and it’s expected that the door will be opened between the months of August-September.

In the next three years, the restaurant will open its more outlets to other parts of Punjab. Mr. Umang Tiwari stated that,

“We are planning to add 7-8 Garam Dharam outlets in next three years, targetting cities like Delhi-NCR in the first phase. We have spent 3-4 crore in each of our outlet depending on the area and the size of the outlet.

Further, the venture is looking to expand into abroad market by opening the branches at location like Canada and London. The actor has the potential to make the business successful as he is very concerned about this project and also has been providing his inputs on the regular basis of everything, including interior and menu.
