Make Valentine Day special by preparing Tofu Makhani at home:

Required Ingredients

TofuMakhani

  • 250 gm of Tofu
  • 1 tsp of fresh Curd
  • 3 big Tomatoes
  • 3 onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tsp of Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp of Coriander and Cumin Powder (Crushed)
  • 1.5 tsp of Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp of Turmeric Powder1/4 cup of Fresh Cream
  • 1/4 cup of Fresh Cream2 tsp of Butter
  • 2 tsp of Butter
  • 4 tsp of Ghee
  • Salt according to taste
  • 4 tbsp of Ghee for frying

Process

  • First of all, cut Tofu in finger length size and fry it in ghee, till brown.
  • After that put curd in fried Tofus.
  • Take a bowl of warm water and add tomatoes in it. Then cut roughly.
  • Heat the ghee in the wok (kadhai) and add onions. Fried quickly, till it becomes transparent.
  • Now, add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Fry them for one minute.
  • After doing that, add tomatoes and again fried them for 5 minutes.
  • Now, add one cup of water to the mixture. Leave it on a slow flame and then add butter.
  • Add Tofus in it and leave it for 2 minutes.
  • Switch off the flame and garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Tofu Makhani is ready to serve.
