Online Food delivery company –Foodpanda is now thinking to tie up with 15000 restaurants across India. To increase its business, Foodpanda is now planning to invest into their product and technology with new ideas. Also, the famous online portal Zomato is planning to enter into the online food delivering business and the TinyOwl has already carved a niche for itself, it would be tricky for Foodpanda to maintain its current status among customers.

Mr. Ralf Wenzel, the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Foodpanda Group stated that, “Over the last couple months we have become the leading online food delivery marketplace across the most promising and fastest growing emerging markets”. He also said that, “The new funding allows us to fully focus on user experience and customer service with the aim of completely disrupting the way people order food by establishing a real alternative to pizza flyers and phone calls”.


The company was launched in 2012 and now, their revenue has raised to US $200 million till now.  Also, as the technology has taken a big leap in the daily life and there are smartphones every where, hence the company has launched a mobile app for them to. It also helps restaurants to increase their business too. At present, the company has dealt up with the partners of 45,000 restaurant globally and is leading market in 32 countries.
