Hyundai has marked the second position for itself and much like Maruti, it has also clocked the highest sales figure ever. The biggest reason for it’s success has been the launch of Creta which kind of changed the game for the company. Mahindra & Mahindra

After a double digit decline consecutively from the last two years, this time Mahindra has finally made its way to success with a 6% rise in the total domestic passenger vehicle sales. The company launched 9 products in the fiscal year 2015-16 so as to strengthen its grip on the market with the likes of TUV300 and KUV100. Some more famous Mahindra models are:

In the fiscal year 2015-16, Mahindra & Mahindra succeeded in selling 236,307 units in the total domestic passenger vehicle with a 6% growth rate. Honda Cars India

The annual domestic sale by Honda has recorded a sale of 192,059 units in 2015-16 duration with a 2% growth rate from the previous fiscal year. In March 2016, 17,340 units were sold with Honda City gaining the lead of 5,662 units followed by 5,223 units of Amaze and 3,683 units of Jazz.

Renault India

Over the last few year Renault has emerged as a potential ruler in the Indian auto market particularly because of the Duster model. the monthly domestic sales of Renault reached to 12,424 units in March 2016 and went on to register a growth of 160%. Kwid also registered its name in the top 10 passenger vehicles in the month of February 2016.

Tata Motors

Tata Motors hasn’t been performing up to the expectations from the last few years but still it has a valuable position in the auto market. In order to re-gain its lost position, the automaker has discontinued the non-performing models and has come up with some facelift versions as well. Overall, the company has faced a decline in sales by 42% mainly because of the diesel vehicle ban in New Delhi owing to the rising air pollution. Ford India

Nissan Motor India

In India, the automaker has sold 4,378 units in the month March 2016 which was 4,717 units in March 2015. With this, it had to go through a decline of 339 units i.e. a loss of 7.19%.
