Ford Figo facelift

With Ford Freestyle, which is reportedly based on the Ford Figo facelift, having already dawned the Indian roads, it should not be long enough before Ford Figo Facelift also makes its Indian Road debut in both petrol and diesel variants.

The diesel variant will borrow the 1.5-litre diesel engine from the outgoing model. However, the petrol variant in all likelihood will boast of the new 1.2-litre petrol engine from the Dragon series which can churn out  96PS of max power and 120 Nm of peak torque similar to the Freestyle. The petrol variant will be coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. A thing to look forward to on the new Ford Figo would be if the American Automaker offers automatic transmission on the new models.

A few noteworthy changes include an all-new grille coupled with larger headlamp units as well as revised front and rear bumpers. LEDE Tail Lamps could be a welcome feature update. On the inside, the Ford Figo will carry the  Android Auto, as well as  Apple CarPlay, enabled SYNC 3 infotainment system.

Honda Jazz Facelift

The car was first seen at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show with renewed interior and exterior features. The new hatchback gets a new 1.5-litre petrol engine option in relation to enhanced equipment setup.


The motor of the Honda Jazz Facelift is able to produce a maximum power of 130bhp and 89 BHP with a 1.2-litre engine and comes mated to a five-speed manual and CVT option. The diesel variant will continue on offer. The hatchback is expected to launch in India around October 2018.

New Maruti Suzuki Wagonr

The India-spec Wagon R is updated in features. It will come to India via a CBU route but it exists in registration at Maruti Suzuki’s head office. The next-gen hatchback is expected to take the lighter weight and an advanced Heartect platform.


Seeing at the headlights and tall-boy appearance of the car, styling wise it attracts a lot. The new updated Wagon R looks more modern in a new phase. The hatchback is expected to launch near festive season later this year.

Next-generation Hyundai Santro

The new small hatchback offering from the Japanese Automakers factory has been more often than once caught the privy eyes of the online car forums. If rumor mills are to be believed, The Next-Generation Hyundai awaits a grand Diwali debut on or before November 7. It borrows its looks from the Grand i10.

The Automaker is however tight-lipped on the engine options but in all likelihood, it will derive power from the 1.1-litre petrol engine of the i10, which produces 69PS of power coupled with an AMT system.

TATA Tiago Sport

India’s hot hatchback, the Tiago Sport with the cheapest price can launch in coming months in India. The car will be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine taking inspiration from the Tata Nexon compact SUV.


The engine is able to churn out a maximum power of 108 Bhp and a peak torque of 170 Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It will also take multi-drive modes.

Tata Tiago EV

India has its own domination in electric revolution. Although, we have experienced the cars such as Mahindra e2O in the past, and the car was not only made in India but also features a range of updates for electric car buyers and worth value for money.


Now, Tata motors will launch the Tiago EV for the leading market to bring such products to the market. However, the company has not revealed any information about the Tiago EV yet.

Tata Tiago JTP

The unveiling of the Tata Tiago JTP  (Jayem Tata Performance) at this year’s Delhi Auto Expo was met with a lot of positive buzz and excitement.  The sportier hatchback will make its Indian debut later this year. Tiago JTP will boast of sportier bumpers with larger vents, an all-new fog lamp housing, smoked projector headlamps and honeycomb grille with a JTP badge.

The new Tiago JTP rests on 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels with side skirts and contrast finished ORVMs with bright red accents. The roof spoiler and diffusers on the rear further accentuate the sportiness. Under the hood, the  Tata Tiago JTP will hire services of the Nexon-sourced petrol engine to meet its power requirements. The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol motor churns out  110PS of power at 5,000 rpm and 150 Nm of peak torque.

Datsun Go facelift

Following its Indonesia launch, Datson is all geared up to introduce the facelift versions of its Go hatch and Go+ MPV to its Indian Audience. The Indian versions will in all probability carry forward the cosmetic updates that are part of its Indonesia siblings.

The updates include a LED DRLs, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, a new grille, newly designed headlamp cluster, larger rear spoiler as well as updated front and rear bumpers.  An all-black upholstery dominates the inside cabin which features a new 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment unit.

Under the hood, the new versions will continue to derive power from the existing 1.2-litre petrol engine coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. It can churn out  68PS of power with a torque of 104Nm. A welcome addition would be the CVT gearbox and the Follow me Home Headlamps.
