Staff Selection Commission has announced notification for SSC CGL. As per this, the age limit for this is assigned to be 18-27 years on 01.01.2014 which is available for relaxation for reserved category candidates. Candidates should have attained a bachelor’s degree from recognized university. Interested candidates can apply online before the last as mentioned.

Age Limit – Between 18 – 27 years as on 01.01.2014.

Age Relaxation – For SC/ST candidates 5 years, For OBC candidates 3 years and For PH candidates 10 years.


Educational Qualification – A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or its equivalent

Application Fee – Rs. 100/- for General/OBC candidates and No fee for SC/ST/PHD and women candidates.

How to apply – Interested candidates can apply online through http://ssconline2.gov.in/ before the last date.


Selection Process – Selection will be based on written examination Tier – I, Tier – II and personal interview.

Online Registration will start from – 18th January, 2014.
Online Registration will end on  – 14th February, 2014.
SSC CGL Tier – I exam date – 27.04.2014 and 04.05.2014.
SSC CGL Tier – II exam date – 30.08.2014 and 31.08.2014.
