Maharashta Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray was arrested by Mumbai Police on Wednesday. He was detained during his “Rasta Roko” movement against toll collection in Maharashtra. He got arrested at Chembur with his some MNS workers at 10am while he was going to heading the movement at Vashi Toll Plaza for protest against toll collection. Sharmila Thackeray made protest outside the police station.


MNS chief Raj Thackeray was liberated after two hours and met with C.M. Pritviraj Chavan on the toll collection issue. He also said to MNS workers not to turning into violence. Many MNS workers took under custody at various places. He said that he wanted translucency in toll collection.

Raj Thackeray receive a notice for not to take part in “Rasta Roko” movement. Raj Thackeray declared that antagonism will not be violent. Tight security has been given by Mumbai police. Some activist of MNS tried to make a mess at Chandani Chowk.
