Lok Sabha approves Telangana Bill, introduced Telangana as 29th state
Telangana Bill was passed by Lok Sabha on Tuesday. Now Telangana is the 29th state in India. Supporters of Andhra Pradesh bifurcation celebrated the Telangana as a new state. BJP and Congress were coming together to support and clear the Telangana Bill.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy will propose his resignation in the protest of Andhra Pradesh Bifurcation on Wednesday. C.M. will forward his resignation to Governor Narasimhan today.
Jagmohan Reddy (YSR Congress Chief) considered Tuesday as Black Day for India and also called to shutdown in Seemandhara on Wednesday to protest against Telangana Bill. Now there is possibility to place the Telangana Bill in Rajya Sabha. After the Telanagana Bill was passed, live telecast of Lok Sabha was cut off suddenly. Some of MPs said this act was not a technical fault rather an undemocratic act.
Support of BJP to Telangana Bill was seemed crucial. Lok Sabha approval for the most awaited Telangana Bill will make everything clear that there is full possibility of Andhra Pradesh division and creation of Telangana as a new state, if it also gains approval from Rajya Sabha. Then Telugu people will have two states.
Telangana MPs were celebrating the event after the bill was passed and also thanked Sonia Gandhi.
