Mahindra NuvoSport is one of the important launch of the year by the leading domestic carmaker Mahindra and Mahindra. NuvoSport is the compact seven-seater vehicle which is meant to serve the Indian crossover lovers. Not to be confused With Quanto Facelift

Yes, the NuvoSport looks like the Quanto model but the overall styling and engineering is completely different. Both the cabin decoration and the exterior layout is new for the segment. The unpopular Quanto model failed to impress the buyers as it was the automaker’s first compact UV in the country but the NuvoSport has been launched and aiming it for a big hit in the compact SUV segment.

The Design Philosophy

The automaker has adopted a new design philosophy for the NuvoSport. However, it sports a similar design styling as the Mahindra XUV500. The rear looks quite similar to the Quanto model but plenty of new additions can be found on the crossover. The front fascia gets a high bonnet line followed by a large bumper and a narrow grille in the centre. It also houses a new set of headlights with LED DRLs.

The top variants get round fog lamps and a 5-twin spoke alloy wheels. NuvoSport is a 7-seater which offers amazing comfort level with premium feel.

Mahindra cars have been known for their reliability and performance on the Indian terrains. The NucoSport is loaded with a powerful 1.5-litre oil-burner which also runs the TUV300 model. It offers two different driving modes viz. Power and Economy.

Mahindra Nuvosport Engine Details

The mhawk power motor under the Power mode produces 100 Bhp at 3,750 rpm and 240 Nm of torque between 1,600 rpm to 2,800 rpm. With economy mode, the same engine churns out 73 Bhp at 3,250 rpm and 180 nm of torque between 1,600 rpm to 2,100 rpm.  The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as well as AMT option, which is available on the top variant.

Range of Six variants with More Color Options

Mahindra NuvoSport has been offered with 6 different variants, namely N4, N6, N8 as the main, while the N4+, N6 AMT and N8 AMT are the top variants.  The compact SUV  is available in six different colors: Molten Red, Regal Blue, Mist Silver,  Rust Orange, Diamond White, and Fiery Black.

Competitive Pricing

In terms of pricing, Mahindra has ensured every possible gap in the compact SUV segment. In the Indian market, it has been priced between 7.35 to 9.76 Lakhs.
