Yamaha has finally launched the next generation series of FZ. This new series is launched with some minor and major changes which reflects the bike’s overall appeal. But the specs are still on paper. Actual images of Yamaha’s upgraded machine are still waiting to have an in-depth review. Till that happens, we took a short notice over the bike’s most crucial competitors.

Yamaha FZ Fi

The upgraded Yamaha FZ is now fitted with fuel injection technology which is first in its segment. One could easily make out a decision after going through the specifications of this bike as the company has done exactly opposite to the people’s expectation. They dropped the power, displacement and torque of the bike by a significant amount. Yamaha is well known for its performance bikes and hence this bike might play some game once company stick to the road. The specification chart of this bike is as under.

TVS Apache RTR 160

TVS Apache RTR 160 is the most powerful bike in this compare which houses a 160cc engine producing 15.2 BHP of power. Apache RTR is among those performers, which has made people mad about performance. The second version of this bike with beast profile didn’t impress many of the people and people either switched their choice or they replaced the headlight cowl with the older one by expensing additional pennies.  This bike is having the shortest wheelbase, yet it’s longest. Bajaj Pulsar, the “Definitely Male” has made it so far in the tooth. This bike was one of the most loved bikes of youth and had a great control over the segment since its launch. With a good number of sales record, the bike started looking outdated, but the impact didn’t get lost. The comes at 2^nd position in terms of power and the Bajaj Auto Limited is known for manufacturing performance bikes. The next generation of pulsar has been seen many times in camouflage with Pulsar 200NS outfits. Here is a brief specification of the bike

Hero Xtreme Sports

Hero MotoCorp Xtreme is the second newest contender here. The Honda’s trusted and tested 149 cc engine is powering this bike which is very refined and fuel efficient. The Hero MotoCorp has a good image for reliability and resale friendly nature. The updated Xtreme has many bits better than the previous one, like the wider rear tyre, engine immobilizer, mobile charging socket, etc. Here are the specifications of this bike.

Honda CB Trigger

Honda CB Trigger is the half blood sibling of the Hero MotoCorp Hunk and  Xtreme Sports. The engine is shared by all these three contenders which is sourced from Honda. This engine is very refined and good for highway and city/street cruising. It also has a completely digital speedometer console, which is multi-functional like the FZ FI.
