It is said that in 1621 the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is known as one of the first Thanksgiving Day. From that time till today, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated. The president Abraham Lincoln proclaimed it a national Thanksgiving Day that is held on each November.


In other words it is a national holiday in the United States and Canada as a way of saying and giving thanks for the blessings of harvest. There are other places around the world that celebrate this Day. It is celebrated fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on second Monday of October in Canada.


There are many ways you can celebrate it. Even though traditionally the foods are a part of Thanksgiving celebration. Some people organize dinner or usually go on travels with family and friends.The time is coming to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. So be prepared and ready to celebrate it.
