Tata Nexon

Tata Nexon is a flagship compact SUV from the Mumbai based carmaker that is ready to launch during this festive season. As expected, it could hit the dealerships sometime by this September month. The already started bookings for the SUV also indicates its imminent launch.
Under the hood, it will be offered in two engine trims- a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel. The former is the same unit performs propelling duties in the Tigor model but the turbocharger introduction will help in churning out more power. The multi-drives modes which comprise Sport, City and Eco are on an option to tune vehicle’s’ performance as per the mood.

The intelligently crafted crossover receives fitments such as comfortable bucket-like rear seats, floating 6.5-inch touchscreen (works with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), 8-speaker sound system, a smart-key, push-button start along with projector headlamps and best in class ground clearance of 209mm (unladen).
In the segment, the SUV will knock his horns with the opponents such as the Maruti Vitara Brezza, and theHonda WR-V and Ford EcoSport.

Audi Q7 Quattro 40TFSI

As promised to offer, its entire lineup with Petrol engines, the Indian arm of the German carmaker is all set to launch its flagship SUV, the Q7 with the petrol powered drivetrain on September 1. Known as the 40TFSI trim, the petrol Q7 will be propelled by a 2.0-litre TFSI motor that makes out 255PS of max power and 370 Nm of max torque. The engine is clubbed with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The automaker did not officially reveal any mechanical specs, but the transmission even will also be shared from the Duster.

On pricing concern, the five seater crossover is likely to tagged with above 13 lakh price tag, where it will compete with the Jeep Compass, and the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, the Hyundai Creta, the facelifted models of both are expected to launch soon.

Skoda Kodiaq

The all-new Skoda Kodiaq is slated to launch in the last quarter of 2017. On the Skoda India official website, the model is in the list from April this year. The full-size seven-seater SUV is packed with a bucket full of top end features along with standard features such as a detachable torch in the boot, door border protection, and more.

In India, the Skoda is offering the premium Kodiaq with 2.0-litre powertrain option in both petrol and diesel. Mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission, the Kodiaq diesel is rated to churn out 150 PS while 180PS petrol one. Depending upon its positioning in the market, the Kodia will knock his head with the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour.

The third contestant from the German carmaker Audi, the Audi A5 Cabriolet will hit the Indian shores in coming months. However, any official details of the impending Audi A5 have not been revealed by the manufacturer. Though, it is likely to be based on the Audi A4 sedan and could feature mechanicals of the same.

The Audi A5’s is probably be powered by the 2.0-litre 192PS petrol motor and diesel options. The executive sedan will go in the pit for the fight with the Mercedes C300 Cabriolet.
