Moong Dal Pakode is also known as Posh Bade in Rajasthan and generally, it’s prepared during the festive time of Makar Sankranti. Though, it takes a bit time in cooking, but later on, you will definitely enjoy this with your friends and family members. Recipe of Moong Dal Bade that will make your winter season worth:

  • 200 gm Moong ki Dal
  • 1 to 2 pinches of Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 3 to 4 Green Chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp of Ginger (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup of Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp of Coriander Powder
  • Salt according to taste
  • Oil for frying

How to prepare Moong Dal Pakoda

  • Rinse the Moong Dal properly and immerse it for 4-5 hours in the water.
  • Now, drain the whole water completely and grind the Dal in the Mixer Grinder.
  • Take out the Dal into the big bowl and add all the spices in it. Mix properly and uniformly.
  • The mixture is ready for Moong Dal Pakode.
  • Heat the oil in the wok (Kadai) and put 8 to 10 Pakode at a time.
  • Fried them, till they become crispy, brown.
  • Transfer it on the tissue paper so that excess of oil will be removed.
  • Repeat the same process for remaining mixture.
  • Moong Dal Pakode is ready to serve and enjoy with spicy green chutney.
