Newly Launched Cars 2019In just two months time span, a lot of new cars have been launched in India in 2019 by the popular car makers. Some of them are all-new, whereas some are revamped version of existing cars. We also expect this launch carnival to continue for rest of 2019. Here is a list of newly launched cars in India in 2019 with price figures.

Ford Endeavour

Ford EndeavourFord has provided some subtle enhancements in 0. Two new variants: Titanium and Titanium+ are available for 2019 Ford Endeavour with five different colour options, which include moondust silver, diffused silver, sunset red, absolute black, and diamond white. The revamped Endeavour will house the same engine options as before-a 2.2-litre (4 cylinders, 160PS/385Nm) and 3.2-litre (five cylinders, 200PS/470Nm) diesel engine.

When it comes of new features, a hands-free tailgate and push-button start/stop have been added in the restyled Ford. Adding to these, HID headlamps with a smoked effect, a slightly reworked front bumper, and 18-inch alloy wheels have also been added to the car.

Mahindra XUV300

Mahindra XUV300Mahindra has launched the much awaited Mahindra XUV300 in February 2019 in India with both petrol and diesel engine options. It is available in four different variants: W4, W6, W8 and W8(O). However, the car is right now available with only manual transmission option. Some of the noteworthy first-in-segment features in the car include dual-zone climate control, heated ORVMs and dual-zone climate control. Apart from these, the other features include DRLs, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, LED tail lamps, front and rear parking sensors, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
As far as power and mileage are concerned, the car comes up with a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine (110PS/200 Nm) and a 1.5-liter diesel unit (115PS/300 Nm). This compact SUV is also capable of offering a highway mileage of 20 kmpl.

Lamborghini Huracan EVO

Lamborghini India has launched the Lamborghini Huracan EVO, a performance-oriented version of its Huracan range in February 2019 in India. The car is an absolute stunner and comes up with considerable upgrades. Lamborghini Huracan Evo is also powered by a 5.2-liter V10 petrol engine that churns out a bolstering power of 660 bhp along with a peak torque of 600 Nm. The car can reach the 200 kmph mark starting from 0 kmpl in 9 seconds with a top speed of 325 kmph. As far as car features are concerned, it comes up with a multifunction steering wheel, touch-screen based infotainment system, power system, climate control and airbag safety.

Maruti Baleno RS

2019 Baleno RS has been launched by Maruti, and it is offered in a single petrol engine option. It is one of the most affordable hatches that is currently available in the Indian market with high fuel efficiency. However, the power and performance have not much changed in it while comparing with regular Baleno. The new Baleno RS comes up with a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder Boosterjet petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 102PS along with 150 Nm of peak torque. The claimed mileage for Maruti Baleno RS is around 21.1 kmpl, which is quite impressive. Inside the hood, updated Maruti Baleno RR shares similar features like top-spec Baleno Alpha. It competes against the likes of Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and Fiat Punto Abarth.

Land Rover Discovery Sport

A new landmark edition of Discovery variant has been recently launched by Land Rover in India. As far as Land Rover Discovery Sport is concerned, it is available in four different variants: Pure, SE, HSE and HSE Luxury cars in the Indian market. The car comes up with three different engine options, which include two diesel and one petrol. The pure variant of the car sport a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine (149PS/ 382 Nm) whereas the SE and HSE variants are available with both petrol and diesel engine options. A 9-speed automatic transmission also comes as a standard across all Discovery Sports range cars.

Maruti Baleno

Maruti Baleno has been offered in four different variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha in 2019 with the choice of petrol or diesel powertrain. As far as the 2019 Baleno Facelift is concerned, it comes with the similar powertrain setup as its predecessors. The petrol variant comes up with a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated engine whereas the diesel variant houses a 1.3-liter turbocharged powermill. The powertrains of the diesel variant of 2019 Baleno comes mated to 5-speed MT only whereas the petrol variant can be equipped with either a 5-speed MT or CVT. As a result of cosmetic changes in Baleno facelift, a new 7-inch touchscreen, LED projector headlamps, new alloy wheels and rear parking sensors come as standard across all variants.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class

The German carmaker has launched the new 2019 Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPV in India in 2019 with two different variants: Expression and Exclusive. The new V-Class is one of the first models that has been launched by the Mercedes-Benz in 2019. The car will come up with a 2.2-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine (163PS/ 380 Nm)mated to a 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox. For safety, Mercedes-Benz V-Class will house six airbags, attention assist, crosswind assist, collision prevention assist, and a 360-degree camera with blind spot detection. Inside the car, the dashboard will feature large air-con vents, stick-out display, and COMAND infotainment system.

Maruti Wagon R

Maruti has launched the new 3rd generation Wagon R in 2019. The car for the first time will come up with two engine options: 1-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine (68PS/90 Nm) and 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine (83 PS/113 Nm ). Both the car engines will come mated to either 5-speed manual or AMT gearboxes. A CNG fuel option is also available for the 2019 Maruti Wagon R, but it only comes with the 1-liter engine. The 3rd gen Maruti Wagon R has improved in terms of space, performance, and practicality.

Tata Harrier

Tata has launched its most promising SUV, Tata Harrier in 2019. This new SUV from Tata is based upon the all-new OMEGARC modular platform and also comes up with a new 2.0-liter diesel engine that churns out power of 140 bhp along with 350 m of torque. The powertrain of the car also comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission only. Four variants: E, XM, XT and XZ. are available for this SUV.

Nissan Kicks

This is one of much anticipated and talked SUVs last year and staying true to its expectations; the new Nissan Kicks packs a punch when it comes of car features and performance. The 1.5 diesel powertrain of the car offers a power output of 110PS along with 240 Nm of torque. Both powertrain variants come mated to 6-speed MT but lack automatic transmission. The standard set of features in the all-new BMW X4 include ABS, cornering brake control, dynamic stability, six airbags, rain-sensing wipers, LED headlamps, multiple driving modes like EcoPro, mood lighting, auto-dimming, panoramic sunroof, a three-zone automatic climate control, and front and rear parking sensors. It rivals the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe.

Toyota Camry

Some of the praiseworthy features of this car include 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, BS with EBD, safety airbags as standard. The car will compete against the likes of Skoda Superb, Volkswagen Passat and the Honda Accord Hybrid.

Lamborghini Aventador

The additional vents on the bonnet, a larger front splitter, a new rear wing, and dual-pipe exhaust system make this SVJ an absolute stunner and eye-catching beauty. All three variants: S, S Roadster and the SVJ come with the 6.5-liter V12 engine. The car has a top speed of 350 kmph.

Toyota Innova Crysta (G Plus variant)


Toyota has launched a new entry-level MPV variant of their Innova Crysta line up called the G-Plus recently in India. The new variant only comes up with the 2.4-liter diesel engine option that churns out the power of 148 bhp and 343 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain also comes mated with 6-speed MT and lacks AMT gearbox. Some of the key standard features of the car include automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, cruise control, and a rear parking camera. Apart from G plus new variant, Toyota Innova Crysta is available in three other variants: GX, VX and ZX in the market.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class (Petrol Variant)

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class variants: C 220 d Prime, C 200 d Progressive and C 300 d AMG have also received a facelift in 2019. The C-Class range sedan in 2019 will be offered with 1.5 liters, four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 48W electric motor by Mercedes-Benz. The C-class cars are only available with Progressive trim level. Some of the standard features of the C-class include a panoramic sunroof, five driving modes, reversing camera, 64 color ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, active parking assist, and a Burmester audio system.
