In the middleweight segment, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and DSK Benelli 300 are available in the domestic market, which are introduced by the Bajaj Auto and the DSK-Benelli respectively. Kawasaki Ninja 300 and DSK Benelli TNT 300, both are the powered by the 300cc engine. Kawasaki Ninja 300 and DSK Benelli TNT 300 come with attractive style and dynamic riding that provide an outstanding ride quality to the rider. Design and Style

Kawasaki Ninja 300 has an aerodynamic fairing that is integrated with twin-headlight, a windscreen and rear view mirrors. Kawasaki 300 has split seats that are positioned in well-manner to give a sporty riding position to the riders. The motorcycle is featured with a LED tail light that gives a stunning look to the rear section. Ninja 300 is featured with massive fuel tank that provides plenty of room to the thighs of the rider.

DSK Benelli TNT 300 is naked streetfighter that comes featured with a V-shaped compact headlamp that gives an angular look to the motorcycle. The motorcycle is featured with a muscular fuel tank, single unit curved seat, large handlebar and compact exhaust that give an aggressive look to the motorcycle. The other noteworthy features of this motorcycle is its quarter fairing, compact LED tail light, visible frame and horizontally placed monoshock suspension.

Power and Mileage

Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by twin cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-stroke, 8-valve and DOHC engine. Kawasaki Ninja generates maximum power of 38.5 BHP at 11000 RPM and torque of 27Nm at 10000 RPM.

On the other end, Benelli TNT 300 houses 300cc liquid cooled and twin cylinder motor that return 35BHP of power at 10000 RPM and 35 Nm of torque at 10000 RPM. The engine is mated to a six speed transmission.

Mileage offered by Kawasaki Ninja 300 in city is around 22km/ltr and on highway, the expected mileage is around 25-27 km/ltr. While Benelli TNT 300 endows mileage of 24km/ltr in city and approx 32 km/ltr on highway.

Both the bikes are furnished with analogue-instrument console. The instrument console of Kawasaki ninja 300 is featured with odometer, digital speedometer, analogue tachometer etc. While DSK Benelli TNT 300 keeps digital speedometer, analogue tachometer, fuel gauge, trip meter and odometer. Tachometer with white background and red needle give an attractive appearance.

Dimensions and Ergonomics

Kawasaki Ninja 300 has an excellent ergonomic which makes ride dynamic and comfortable on any kind of road conditions. The overall length, width and height of Kawasaki Ninja 300 are as follow- 2015mm, 715mm and 1110mm respectively. The kreb weight of Ninja 300 is 172kg and ground clearance is 140mm. Whereas, Benelli TNT 300 has overall length of 2130 mm, height of 1120 mm and a width of 800 mm. The kreb weight of TNT 300 is 196kg and ground clearance is 160mm.

Safety components

Both the motorbikes are packed with standard safety components which not only offer safety, but also provide comfortable ride. Kawasaki Ninja 300 is furnished with the advanced suspension and braking system. It holds petal disc brake of 290mm at front and of 220mm at its rear wheels. Ninja 300 is incorporated with an advanced ABS system. It runs on a front 37 mm telescopic fork with 120mm stroke and rear with 132 mm with bottom link uni-trak with adjustable gas charged shock absorber and 5-way adjustable preloaded suspension.

On the other end, DSK Benelli TNT 300 comes with 260 mm Twin disc at front and rear with 240 mm single disc. ABS system is not available as an option. The motorcycle comes fitted with Benelli 41 mm upside down forks, 115 mm stroke at front and Benelli shock of 120 mm stroke with adjustable preloaded suspension at rear.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 is available in two shades- Ninja Green and White. While Benelli TNT 300 is available in three striking shades which are Rosso, Verde and Nero. The approximate price of Kawasaki Ninja 300 is Rs 3,64,865. While Benelli TNT 300 is available in the country at Rs 2,91,000.
