ITC to open five star hotel in Andhra Pradesh

ITC plans to set up a new hotel beneath the brand My Fortune in Gunter, Andhra Pradesh. The foundation stone was laid down on Friday in the presence of YC Deveshwar, chairman of ITC along with the state’s Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Scrutinizing the accommodations, the hotel includes a 5000 square feet pillar-free ballroom, which can gather up to 500 guests, 144 high-furnished rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, speciality restaurant, a bar and a deli. Apart from this, there is a “Wellness Zone” that furnishes a state-of-the-art gymnasium and spa.

As far as the launch is concerned, the hotel is anticipated to initiate the operations from 2019, targeting the high-end business class delegations.

The hotel is going to be positioned in the upscale segment of the exclusive ‘My Fortune’ brand.

Other exclusive hotels of the brand are placed in Chennai and Bengaluru.
