Mahindra Scorpio

With the launch of 2018 Mahindra Scorpio in India, the new car receives fresh cosmetic updates and changes related to power and engine. Other variants of the car are also updated along with power and torque specifications.

2018 Mahindra Scorpio Exterior:

The outer side of the 2018 Mahindra Scorpio receives a revised front end. A 7-slat unit with chrome bezels replaces the fangs on the grille. The front bumper gets certain tweaks along with the side turn indicators which are placed on the wing mirrors. Coming to the back side, the back is also revised to make a sharper appearance. The suspension setup has been revised to maintain the extra power output, increase brake force and with the addition of bigger brake boosters and brake pads, the suspension is revised.

2018 Mahindra Scorpio Power And Engine:

The base variant S3 is powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder m2DICR engine generating a maximum power of 75PS and a peak torque of 200 Nm. The S5 and S7 models receive the 2.2-litre mHawk engine producing a maximum power of 120PS and a peak torque of 280 Nm. The S7 and S11 variant will receive a more power of 140PS and 320 Nm of torque. Now, it is also possible to get 140PS at lower rev of 3750 rpm as compared to 120PS at 4000 rpm, whereas 320Nm is available on offer at 1500 rpm. A new Borg Warner turbocharger is able to produce higher outputs. Only variants which get new six-speed gearbox are the S7 and S11 and it will use a new self-adjusting clutch which Mahindra says will produce end of lifecycle efforts and call for lower features. The start-stop system will be the same in the car.

2018 Mahindra Scorpio Interior:

Mahindra has improved the interior with the addition of upgraded infotainment system enhancing Android Auto connectivity, revised dashboard, Connected Apps, Emergency Call system with the addition of fresh seat upholstery and convenient features to make customers satisfied.
