Mileage would be around 20-21 Kmpl. High ground clearance makes it ideal for Indian roads. In terms of security and safety, the hybrid SUV boasts of features like EBD, ABS, ATC, front/curtain airbags, anti-theft system with vehicle immobilizer etc. On Indian roads, the Nissan X-Trail Hybrid(SUV) will have for company the likes of Mitsubishi Pajero, Honda CR-V, Toyota Fortuner.

The sub-four meter SUV will in all likeliness borrow its looks from Micra hatchback and Sunny sedan. The 1.5 Litre, K9K diesel powertrain engine is expected to clock satisfactory numbers in terms mileage. The company has been secretive with details before the expected Delhi Auto Expo launch. With this segment already occupied by the likes of Renault Duster, Fiat 500X, Honda Vezel etc the SUV has a hard task cut out for it.

Keeping that in mind, Nissan is gearing up to launch the dashing SUV in the country before the end of 2018 in 1.2 L Petrol variant. The model basically acquired its designing from Go+ MPV, but with its improved features and better interiors, it is expected to get a place in people’s heart as well as in their parking space. The company reported a rough idea of its pricing to be around 4.5 lakh for the basic model.

And for that, Nissan has introduced an AMT gearbox in the model, but still, it will come powered by a 799cc Petrol engine. Datsun Redi Go AMT will be seen hitting the Indian roads by the mid of 2017.
