Delhi Auto Expo 2018

As we are eagerly waiting for Delhi Auto Expo 2018 and want to see new launches and facelifts of our favorite brand, company, and model. Premium carmakers are in the race to gather much of attention by launching a range of automobiles. With the many budget offerings, it is a right time for buyers to purchase their favorite cars.

Here is the list of top 10 cars under Rs. 10 lakh to launch at Delhi Auto Expo 2018:

Mahindra S201

This is a full-size SUV as Mahindra has been putting efforts to launch and enter into most popular SUV segment. It is expected that the company can showcase a car which is based on the Ssangyong Tivoli at the Auto Expo 2018 event. With the launch of S201, the company is planning to launch a stretched and compact variant. The comparatively smaller variant in size will be rival to the Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Brezza while the longer variant will be rival to the Renault Duster and other likes. The car will take a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The bigger 1.6-litre mFalcon engine is also expected to add in the compact SUV.

Renault Kwid-Based Compact SUV

The Renault Kwid is a stylish car based on the repetition to designing of the hatchback. The car is expected to based on the Kwid’s Common Module Platform A (CMF-A) which will become very common in upcoming cars such as station wagons and compact sedan from the company. In the market, the car will go against the Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Hyundai Creta.

Next-Gen Honda Amaze

The Honda is expected to launch the next-generation Honda Amaze in the growing compact Sedan segment at the Auto Expo 2018. As per the reports, the design elements will be the same from the Honda City. A revised platform will be in relation to safety regulations. The engine will be the same as of foregoing model and powered by a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The motor of the car comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and CVT. With the addition of changes in the central console, this car definitely deserves to hold a look at it. It will compete against the new Swift Dzire which was the top-selling car in a previous year.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift

The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is expected to launch its facelift at the Auto Expo 2018. In the mid-size Sedan segment, it will come as a sole offering from the company. The spotted test mule of the car was caught with some cosmetic changes. The facelift of Ciaz will carry the same 1.3-litre SHVS diesel and 1.4-litre K-series VVT petrol engines. The interior will also be same in the car. The change is likely to put with steering and suspensions only. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift will compete against the Honda City and a new variant of Hyundai Verna.

Tata X451

As the premium hatchback segment is in trend, the Tata Motors is planning to showcase new Tata X451 in the segment at the Auto Expo 2018. The Tata X451 will be put above Tiago and go against Hyundai Elite i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the market. This is the first car from the company based on Advanced Modular Platform (AMP). Tata is anticipated to use this platform in upcoming small cars. The Tigor, Nexon, and Tiago which increased the sale of the company are also designed on the same design language.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift will launch at the Auto Expo 2018 in the country. The much-expected addition in the car will be in new design and reworked face. In addition, the new Swift will take the HEARTECT platform to make the car stronger and lighter. The engine configuration will be the same as the existing engine. It will be powered by a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine and a 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine equipped with the existing models. The engine will come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The company can also launch other versions with the addition of the CVT automatic transmission. The sportier RS version of the car will take a 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine which is the same as the Baleno.

Hyundai Santro

The company is planning to supersede the Eon with the new offering which is going to launch at the Auto Expo 2018. This replacement can be the Hyundai Santro or an Eon facelift as a choice. One more test mule of small Hyundai car is also spotted can debut at the Auto Expo 2018. The leaked images of test mule showed some specifications similar to Santro-like design elements showing more space inside with large rear and side windows. The dimensions of the body are also enhanced. The Hyundai Santro facelift may own an 800cc, 1.0-litre petrol engine but there is no confirmation from the company side yet. The engine might be taking full automatic transmission or an AMT option.

Hyundai Elite i20

The Elite i20 Facelift is expected to debut at the Auto Expo 2018. The leaked images showed that this facelift can own LED DRLs, single-piece cascading grille, a changed bumper, and a changed bumper. The rear portion of the car also updated with the addition of new LED taillights. The engine specification will be the same as the existing a 1.4-litre or 1.2-litre diesel and 1.4-litre petrol engine. Hyundai, although, may offer 1.2-litre petrol engine along with a CVT variant to compete the Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the market.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is expected to launch at upcoming Auto Expo 2018 event. The previously leaked images of the car suggest that it will take a new HEARTECT platform which will be providing stronger and lighter body combination. The car will be changed concerning the new design and styling but remain same with transmission and engine options.

Maruti Suzuki Concept Future S

Maruti Suzuki Concept Future S is expected to launch at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018 to gather the big base of buyers in SUV segment with an aggressive appearance to hatchbacks. Its new design will certainly make customers happy wishing to purchase a compact car. The design language of the company varies depending upon the part of a compact car as claimed by Maruti Suzuki.
