Maruti Suzuki recently launched its most awaited Maruti Baleno under the Premium Hatchback category which resembles mid-size sedan launched a decade ago. The Baleno premium hatchback carries a liquid flow design measures 3,995mm in length, 1,745mm in width and 1,470mm in height, and offers an impressive boot space of 339-litres. The diesel version is not as good as its petrol versions in this respect since it requires about 16 seconds to break the 100 Kmph mark. However, their top speed lies in the range of 155 to 160 Kmph.

The newly launched Hyundai Elite i20 is lot more advanced in terms of acceleration and pickup as its petrol version is coupled with a 5-speed transmission that enables the vehicle to cross the speed mark of 100 Kmph in just 15-16 seconds and allows it to achieve top speed of 140 to 145 Kmph easily. The diesel version comes with a 6-speed transmission allowing the vehicle to cross 100 Kmph mark in just 13-14 seconds letting it achieve a top speed of 160 to 165 Kmph easily.

Hyundai i20 gets a bit costlier as it offers a price tag of INR 5.7 lakh to INR 9.0 lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi) and offers mileage of 18.7kmpl in the petrol version and mileage of 22.54kmpl in the diesel version.
