MakeInIndia

In a previous report, I have told about the “Make in India” event that will be started from 13 February in Mumbai. Now for the 800 top delegates and global CEOs, a grand feast will be organized at the inaugural dinner for the event. The dinner to be hosted at The Turf Club, which will be attended by top-level delegations, political leaders, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, celebrities and bureaucrats.

All the top hotels, such as Taj, ITC, The Oberoi, Hyatt, The Leela and Marriott will offer Indian delicacies for the visitors. Six proficient chefs from the hotels will handle the dinner menu that includes dishes from six regions of India- north, south, east, west, the Himalayan region, and the northeast.

Mr. Gautam Ananad, a member of the advisory board of Experience India Society, said,

“For the very first time in the microcosm of Indian cuisine, we will also showcase the North eastern cuisine and the Himalayan cuisine, which usually gets lumped together with the North. The menu is themed around the “flavours of mother earth” and each and every ingredient will be sourced from within the country from sustainable farms”.

Representatives from more than 1000 companies across 60 countries are likely to come for the Make In India. The event will be organized by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) and the Union ministry of commerce and industry. The food and beverage arrangements are looking by EIS, which will also set up a VIP lounge at the MMRDA ground. Theme-based mocktail and cocktail called “Kakashi Kooler” and “The Indian Summer” has also been created by EIS.
