It is really very sad or perhaps surprising to say that a team that has won last six ODIs series in a row has suffered a very big defeat against South Africa at its Home ground. South Africa thrashed India by a large difference of 141 runs in the first match of the series. It is not a good sign for India for next upcoming matches.

If we consider runs, this is the second biggest lose against South Africa. Indian player did huge mistakes in this match that cannot be ignored. The trouble started when India won the toss and chose to bat first but Indian bowlers were in full mood to gift runs to South African Stars.

India’s defeat in South Africa
Indian bowlers didn’t get any wicket in first 20 overs. Only Mohammed Sami got 3 wickets and did balls well. Dhoni’s favorite Jadeja and Ashwin didn’t get any single wicket besides this, they gave so many runs. So this was an overall very disappointing performance of balling from Indian Side on that fast track bowling pitches.

Again it has been proved that Indian bowlers are very poor in dead overs. They have no idea where they should ball to stop runs even don’t know how to give right bounce and Yorkers. Really, if Indian players will continue their this kind of poor performance in the series then it is right to say that South African will not leave India even for breathing. Something must be done otherwise we will hear from the whole world that “India Only Can win in India.”

On the other hand second story is about batting in the match when Indian openers came on the ground to chase the huge total of 359. The king of Speed, Dale Steyn bowled danger to Rohit Sharma that he could not even touch any ball in Steyn’s first two overs. It was clear in first 5 overs that it is going to be very tough series for India and totally different than they played last six series. Top three run scorer of the year Dhawan, Rohit, Kohli all were looking scared and unbalanced in front of African pace stars bowlers.

No batsman could stay on the pitch for long time. They suffered extra bounces and swings with speed. Again Yuvi, Raina both failed to play big knock and at the end all responsibility came on India’s skipper Dhoni but no one could stay with him too and after his wicket India’s defeat became decided and whole team got all-out in only 41 over with total of 217.
