Burger King- The North-American fast-food chain is now opening its outlets in Bengaluru and Punjab. The company has already opened its 12 restaurants in National Capital Region (NCR) Delhi and Mumbai and very much known for its signature dish that is Hamburger.

A company spokesperson said that, “All Burger King restaurants in India are franchisee owned and operated. Our master franchisee in India has confirmed intent to open restaurants in Bengaluru and Punjab. We are extremely pleased with the local response to the Burger King restaurants that have opened since late 2014 and look forward to growing the brand’s relationship with our customers in India”.


It is a well-known fast-food restaurant chain and became famous for its Hamburger and others signature dishes and palatable delectable menu. Burger King had purchased by 3G Capital, a global investment firm to make it a private company in 2010. At present, its outlets are situated approximately 14,000 locations in 100 countries with having more than 11 million guests daily.

It has joint deal with the Singapore-based private equity and real estate group, Everstone Group, an India-focused with which they plan together to open a some 100 stores in India in the next 10 years. Burger King has already entered in Pakistan and Brunei too. It has also tie-up with China in 2010 to start one thousands restaurants by 2015.
