1. Honda Activa

The Honda Activa is an award-winning flagship scooter from the company that has has been popular in the domestic market since its arrival. Honda Activa is equipped with 109.2 4-Stroke Single Cylinder HET engine which churns out 8 BHP at 7500 RPM  and a torque of 8.83 NM at 5500 RPM. HMSI claims 60 KMPL mileage on Activa 4g with HET and Air cooled engine. Honda launched an Activa-i model in 2013. It is the stylish and cheaper model in the segment against the 110 cc engine scooters. The new Activa-i  gets a light weight design and sharp fresh graphics. Activa-i is powered by 109.19 with a single cylinder, which generates 8BHP of maximum  power and 8.74NM peak torque. This model is available in three versions namely Activa 125, Activa-i and Activa 4G.

The Honda Activa 125 is powered by a 125cc fan cooled, BS-IV engine which returns 8.52 BHP of power at 6500 RPM and 10.54 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. The scooter comes equipped with Honda’s trusted technology as Honda Eco Technology which assists in delivery of claimed mileage of 60 KMPL. It is in collaboration with four stroke and Air-cooled engine unit to provide healthy performance. Recently, the HMSI has introduced a new model of Honda Activa 125 with minor updates. It comes with new LED headlights, AHO, 3D Honda emblem and a new mobile charging socket, etc. The company is selling the Activa 125 in two variants as Activa 125 Standard and Activa 125 Deluxe.

Honda Activa 4G

Activa scooter has been leading the Indian scooter industry from a decade. The Activa is an also a winner among most of the scooters of Honda two wheeler automotive segment. Until now, the Activa came into three generation with almost similar patterns but now Honda launched and revamped the Activa with its fourth generation Activa 4G. The new generation Activa is said to be BS IV compliant which is a mandatory featured by government issues in the public interest. The Hero Maestro is an automatic scooter which comes with an impressive graphic and look. The scooter offers smooth ride quality and takes care of your rides as the scooter is equipped with a Combined Braking System. The propelling power comes from a 110.9 cc, 4-stroke and air-cooled, BS-IV engine, which returns a maximum power of 8 BHP at 7500 RPM and a peak torque of 8.7 Nm at 5500 RPM. 4. All New Suzuki Access 125

The Japanese two wheeler maker, Suzuki also keep revising their products constantly, recently the firm has launched a facelift scooter Suzuki Access 125 in the Indian market. It comes with a powerful powerplant, comfortable seats and a stable ride. The scooter offers excellent riding experience as it comes with a good ground clearance of 160mm. Talking about its engine and transmission, it is powered by a 125cc powerhouse that churns out a maximum power of 8.58 BHP and the mill is coupled to a CVT gearbox. The 125cc scooter gives a good mileage of 43 KMPL.

5. Honda Dio

According to the sales report of July and August, youngsters are showing their keen interest to buy Honda Dio as against to the new Access 125 (1,47,034 Units approx sales –  January, 2016 to August, 2016). The scooter has got fourth position in the August, 2016 sales report. Earlier, Honda Dio was introduced in January 1988 and was equipped with two stroke, 50cc AF18E single-cylinder engine. After split between Hero and Honda, HMSI has launched an updated version of Dio at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo with new style and an advanced headlight featuring. While in 2013, Honda has improved the Dio’s fuel economy and the fitted COMBI brakes system.

Talking about the engine specs, Honda Dio comes equipped with a fan cooled, 4 strokes, SI, BS-IV engine with 109.19cc displacement. The engine is tuned to generate 8BHP of power and 8.91NM of torque with automatic transmission. The company claims to deliver 60Kmpl of fuel economy with the HET Technology.

Recently, HMSI has updated the Dio with fresh body graphics and attractive colour options. More on the list, the scooter comes with wide comfortable seat, enough leg space, AHO, 18 litre trunk storage for your belongings. As far as safety concerned, the new Dio runs on the tubeless tyres with incorporated Combi Brake System that looks after the rider and pillion safety.
